Basic Philosophy

The Teague Economic Development Corporation (EDC) will provide its portion of the city generated sales tax in the form of a Sales Tax Rebate to qualified Teague businesses.  Qualifying applicants, defined as a new business, may receive a percentage of this rebate over a period of 5 years.

(A new business is defined as being in operation for 2 years or less that has generated sales tax for the city of Teague and increased employment within the city of Teague.)
